Inspired by Life Design will accept merchandise in its original condition for a refumd of the purchase price when accompanied by the original invoice. Return merchandise must be post marked with 10 days from the date of delivery.

 

Inspired by Life Design does not provide return shipping labels and shipping charges for returned item(s) are the buyer's responsibility. The purchaser shall retain and use the original packaging when making a return. We recommend shipping returned merchandise via UPS or FedEx for tracking purposes. Please be sure to request adquate insurance to cover the product shipped. Inspired by Life Design will not assume resposibility for reimbusement or compensation in the event that return packages are lost, stolen, mishandled or damaged. After inspection we will refund the paid amount corresponding exclusively to the returned condition of the product.

Each product carries a label with the simple care instructions listed below. We suggest cleaning all wooden bowls with soap and water. A quick wash in warm, soapy water followed by a quick rinse and towel dry and your bowl is good to go!

 

Most or our products have a tough, specially applied and hand rubbed finsh which is a proprietary formulation developed over a number of years.

Certain products have a traditional oil finish and the product page indicates this.

 

Wooden kitchenware is NOT dishwasher safe and should not be left in water to soak - all of that excess water will increase the chances that the wood will split.

Wood bowls are a natural product, and subject to temperature and humidity extremes. There can also be small cracks, knots and holes (especially in burl bowls), but all of those things are why you want a real wooden bowl. If you aren't comfortable with these characteristics of a hand-made wooden object, you probably won't be satisfied with this item.

 

Keep in mind that wood is a natural 'medium', meaning it can have knots, holes, wide color differences, and grain variations. Wood can also change slightly due to moisture and/or seasonal differences. These are not considered defects.

Warranty covers the repair or replacement of defective parts and does not cover other issues such as transportation or any other loss or damage. Contact us ASAP if your item was damaged during shipping.
